A prime power plant begins with the load profile. Nikitis evaluates average and peak demand, load steps, critical loads, fuel availability, environmental requirements, maintenance philosophy, and future expansion. The resulting architecture may combine multiple natural gas or turbine generator assets, battery storage, switchgear, transformers, cabling, and FORTRESS™ controls.
